What happens if the musician cancels?

It is never great when plan-A doesn't work out, lucky for you we are professionals who know you always need a plan B,C, D, and E. We take cancellations very seriously because we know that they can really put a wrench in your plans, so that is why every booking you reserve with us is supported and protected. 
If a booking is cancelled 7 calendar days (168 hours) of the event, you are entitled to a full refund of the reservation cost and fees. A Dream DJ representative will also be assigned to your event to help find another musician who will be able to fulfill your needs based on the specifications previously shared. 
Lastly, we will also initiate an internal investigation for the reasoning behind the cancellation, and repercussions may be imposed on the performer based on the findings of that investigation.

Can I see a musician play before booking them?

Yes, for sure!
We keep samples of each performer you will be matched with, so you will be able to hear their performance styles to make sure they are a great fit for you. Post booking, we will also share their professional social media so you can see more of their performance materials, and you will have direct contact with them to ensure that key items like must-have song requests are queued. Lastly, we will share an event checklist to help with the coordination of event details, so that nothing falls through the cracks. Transparency is the key to great coordination, and Dream DJ will support in any way possible to help make this an event for the record books.
